Necklace with large Zeeba pendant, made of metal, carved bone and turquoise crystal. Zeeba or Zipak amulet of Tibetan origin, has its origin in a Shaivite legend from the Shandha Purana. It was created to eat Rahu. This amulet has become a reminder of the consequences of gluttony and greed and also acts as a guardian for practitioners. Zeeba's fingers point to his missing body to show what can happen when someone is overcome by greed.
